Harald Buchrucker (1897 - 1985) was working in parallel to the tradition of the Bauhaus metalworks and founded his own company together with the artist Wilhelm Blutbacher (Stuttgarter Sezession) in Ludwigsburg, Germany in 1931. Two months after foundation Buchrucker presented a first collection at the Leipziger Messe Fair and at the Grassimesse. Harald Buchrucker was member of the German Werkbund.
